RELAY FOR LIFE "TEAM TAYLOR" Fundraiser - Kid's Night Out!

Lauren and Taylor have been friends, classmates and carpool buddies since Mrs. Carter's pre-k 3 class! They have studied for Mr. Gibson's geography final; sang together in the 8th grade play "Music Man"; prayed together and now they attend East Ridge together.
Lauren really wanted to show her support for Taylor so she and her best friend, Alex, and sister Veronica are participating in The American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" race. They have put together "TEAM TAYLOR". As captains they will lead the team at the annual Relay For Life! You can click here to make a donation:

Prayers for Taylor Continue.

We love hearing how everyone continues to show their love and support for Taylor and our family. It warms our hearts to know that so many prayers continue to flow and gives us a little boost each day.

Zachery, 4 years old
2nd Cousin in Atlanta

Little Zach, hasn't seen his cousin Taylor since the big family 4th of July celebration in North Carolina this past year, but Taylor is still top of mind for him. His mother told us when they were at church last Sunday, Zach raised his hand during the children’s mass and asked for special prayers for his cousin, Taylor.  He’s only four, so he was a little shy, but it was completely his own idea. So sweet.

Thanks Zach. We know God is listening.

A Broncos Sunday

It was a "fantastic " ball game!  The Bronco's vs Pittsburg Steelers, bet you all know which team this household cheered for!?!  The Becorest boys have been HUGE Tebow fans since he played for the Gators.  Once again the game was a thrilling Tebow experience!!   Now we're all looking forward to next weekends matchup with New England! It will be a busy week. Taylor has a 3 day Chemo treatment starting Tuesday and Sammy has his second St. Andrew Spartans Basketball game!  We will keep you posted! Love to all!

Tacos and Tebow in 2012!

January 2nd, 2012

Tebow Tebowing over Taylor was one of his favorite Christmas gifts. Well, that and some Gator Duct Tape (another lovely and very thoughtful gift from Taylor's most devoted fan and cousin, Jackson). Yeah, Can you believe the boy is in the mood for Tacos after 5-Days of chemo? Well, if it tastes good, go for it Bubba!
Christmas Day 2011
...because you never know when you're gonna need some Gator Duct Tape!

New Year's Eve Celebration at Arnold Palmer
The Holt family brought party hats, pizza and sparkling champaign— but forgot balloons.
No worries! Spencer to the rescue!

Happy New Year everybody and thanks so much for all your prayers and support. Please keep them coming as Taylor continues his journey this year.

Merry Christmas!

We had a great Christmas day with the family. Santa brought Taylor a knit hat with an attached beard! These are all the rage right now, if you didn't know. Who needs hair when you can knit some! Taylor's brother Sammy got a Go-Cart so everyone zoomed around the hood all day, including Taylor.
We were so thankful to be together as a family.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Big week at Brooks!

Taylor has had a very productive week at Brooks! He has learned how to stand and he's been taking steps using parallel bars. He pedaled 5 miles/40 minutes on a special stimulator bike. And of course, he's been practicing the ever popular wheelies. Brooks said he's a model patient and that he needs to move to outpatient therapy in Orlando. The therapists said they want to see him WALK in the door next time he visits Brooks.  Thought we'd share a few of his accomplishments here.

Taylor will be heading home on the 23rd to spend a very Merry Christmas with the family.

Happy Holidays everybody!

Even Legomen are Praying for Taylor!

Taylor's 6 year old cousin, Jackson, likes to bring him presents all the time to "help him get better", as he says. Jackson has painted a Gator themed Nutcracker for Taylor, he's given Taylor a picture of himself with the Chick-fil-a Santa Cow and he brought Taylor a Gator Pillow-Pet. Jackson also likes to make Lego creations for Taylor. His latest is this church.
...and inside the church are all the Legmen praying for Taylor to get better.

Hope you'll keep Taylor in your prayers too!
